Seeing the territory of Leverano from above, in the mosaic of crops, the white rectangles of the greenhouses stand out, warm coverings in which flowers and vegetables can develop and flourish even in adverse seasons – the center of a productive innovation that continues to evolve even today. An exemplary story of innovation is that of Azienda Marti, an important entity in the production of potted flowering plants – large greenhouses in which each plant variety finds the right treatment, specifically cared for to produce bright blooms, ready to enrich the atmospheres of our homes in every season. These greenhouses are also an example of sustainability, in which heating and cooling are automated by sensors, using energy produced by boilers fueled with local biomass and mechanized processing lines that allow optimizing production results – the beauty of flowers that blooms through precision engineering.
