The adventure of flowers in Leverano was born out of the lack of work, which forced many to leave in search of it elsewhere, with emigration, with the surprise of finding an unknown world and the desire to learn a new trade well. And then believing, believing and finding the strength to return, after years and with different hands, skillful and determined, to embark into a new adventure, creating new work where there was none before. So, starting with Mimino Albano, the first courageous flower grower in the 1970s – flowers tell the story of time, from the good ones where they are not enough to the times of crisis, where few want them. Yet, the flower growers remain, always innovating with courage, passing the trade from father to son. Until a magical moment each year, Leverano in Fiore, when the entire town blooms and welcomes creators and visitors from every nation, in a festive competition that rewards the heart and courage of those first pioneers.
